Update from John North

At the end of this semester I will be finishing my Master of Public Health with another year of school to get my Master of Healthcare Administration. After I graduate, I will be heading for Rhode Island for a five week Officer Development School for the Navy. I find out early next year where I will be going after that. Other than school, I am working for Hamilton Partners, a Commercial Realestate Investment firm on the building managment side of things. I spend the rest of my time getting in shape for the Navy and being with my family.

Rose is working for Intermountain Health Care in their new Intermountain Medical Center. She still prepares surgical instruments, but has been moved to the department just outside of the operating rooms. She is currently being looked at for a supervisor position. She is taking a computer class toward her Associates degree.

Isabelle is in Kindergarten and loves to read. She is very good at social skills and has a giant heart for people. She loves to do work around the house and is always happy to help do anything she is asked, especially cooking. She would rather cook than go play at a friends house.

Gabriella is a brilliant girl. This week I asked Isabelle the name of her friend when she was three. This friend had moved to Virginia when Gabi was one and Isabelle never talks about him. Gabi was the one who remembered the name. She has a fantastic memory, problem solving skills, and is a gifted artist. She has been drawing small details and coloring inside the lines since she was two. I'm excited to see where she goes once she gets into school. Right now she loves being the youngest in the family and Isabelle's best friend.

Rose's mom has been with us for the past six months. She has extended her visitor's visa in order to see her grandson born in Chicago, Rose's sister lives there. She spends her time cooking, cleaning, and watching the girls. She has been a big help for Rose and I.
