I have so many fun memories of Grandpa that I don't know where to start. I can remember being about four years old and we had just moved to Arizona. I can remember Grandma and Grandpa coming down to visit quite a bit. It must have been in the winter because every time he would come he would say " I came for sunshine but the rain followed me here." After a few rainy visits and hearing him say that, I wondered how the clouds knew my Grandpa was in town. I also have very fond memories of double mint gum and tictacs because Grandpa (and Uncle David) always had some and were always happy to share them! I think I must have been in junior high when Grandpa won a Jeep in a raffle. Not only did he have a cool Trans Am but also a Jeep. I can't think of a higher compliment than to have a 13 year old think your pretty cool!! I loved going to Grandpa's house to visit because I always felt loved no matter what and he and Grandma were always so happy to have you there!!!!

I remember the weather issues too! I also remember feeling so sad when it was time to head back to Utah. I did, however, enjoy listening to Mystery Theater at night in the Arizona Desert.
