Fall updates 2

Here’s a quick rundown on the Petersons:
Alan wakes up everyday still self unemployed but contracting with BYU-TV, various political candidates, etc. I am working one day a week at the “old office” in Sugarhouse (come see me, Mark) and learning almost as much as the kids as we dive into home school studies every day.

I am a home schooler and had two babies at home…*gasp*…I have become a hippie!

Brittney and Ben welcomed Lola Marie last February and chose a home birth this time. Lola and Livi could be twins born two and a half years apart! However, their personalities are very distinctive! Livi is more cerebral, and Lola is an explorer who eats everything she can grab. Hmmm…that sounds a little like Brit and Julie when they were little!

Julie is back in Utah (yeah for us!) and working at Chili’s in Centerville. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, stop by for lunch and say hi! She is doing well, living with TJ and we are so happy we get to see her often.

Colton is studying game design via a distance learning charter school in American Fork (American Leadership Academy) and taking US Government from BYU Independent Study. He recently signed up for a paper route and has to be folding papers at 3 AM! He’s a trooper and I haven’t bailed him out once! He continues to perform in Ballroom dance and teach beginning classes at Silhouette Ballroom in Bountiful.

Mac is playing violin and he and Henry (our double bass player) are in a quintet. They learned how fun it can be to play at the Farmer’s Market and earn money.  We are still home schooling the younger three through an online charter school (DaVinci Academy in Ogden). Academically, they are performing extraordinarily. We had a Hogwarts “Spell”ing Bee: we invited a few other kids and each got a list of words to study. They all dressed up, received progressive awards for how many correct words they spelled and had a party…chocolate frogs and all! Our biggest challenge is boredom. We’re done by noon and friends usually aren’t available to play until after 4 PM. Thank heavens for field trips.
Lucy is also playing violin and is halfway through Suzuki book 1.
We have been very blessed to have Uncle Mark as our number one cheerleader for recitals and other performances. You’re the best, Mark!

We send our love and hope those of you who are around can join us at our home for a Thanksgiving for a feast!!

 Becky Wagner family-

Baby Harrison was born this past July.  He was 9lbs 6oz, was born naturally with many thanks to Rachel as my doula and my mom both helping me so much!  Drake and Lincoln have adjusted really well to having the new baby around.  Drake started kindergarten this year and Lincoln started preschool.  Life is very eventful.  There is always something going on!  I am now officially a retailer of Happy Heinys cloth diapers and also g diapers.  I opened up my first website to sell them!!! www.earthybabystore.com
We are all healthy and very blessed!
