From John North

am in my third and last year of my graduate schooling. I have finished all the requirements to receive my Master of Public Health and am just on the tail end of my business classes for my Master of Healthcare Administration. I would also like to change healthcare. I believe we will see great change within the next five years or so. Especially on the state level. This is probably where the change will come from and then the Feds will look and see what system works best and then implement it nationally, if we do get around to a national healthcare system. It's interesting to see what is being debated in Utah and around the country in this area. After graduation, I am off to Rhode Island for Officer Development School and then the Navy will ship us wherever. I should know for sure by April where we are going.

Rose is being grateous and is putting her schooling on hold right now. Maybe she will take a class or two in the spring, but we will play this by ear. She is working at the new Intermountain Medical Center in Murray and is enjoying it.

Isabelle started 1st grade and is loving all the new changes (school lunch, full-day school, extra recesses, etc). School has become a passion for her. She loves the interaction and tries really hard in learning everything that is presented to her. As a social butterfly she really absorbs the presentations and interaction with other kids that come through school.

Gabriella has started pre-school; don't call it school to her, she gets offended. It is pre-school. She is in an intercity school where there are may nationalities and a difference in curriculum, focus, and expectations. This has been a change for us as parents as Isabelle has been going to a public school in the upper-class neighborhood at the mouth of immigration canyon. Overall I think it is a great opportunity for Gabi to understand people of other races and cultures. They really emphasize diversity.
