Summer Happenings

Steve and Janae

We just spent two weeks in Provo, visiting Janae's family and attending her 20 year HS reunion. It was great to see everyone from old times. Janae's family is doing great. Her brother and wife just had their first baby, girl. We also visited Janae's grandpa, who is 99 years old. He ended up in the hospital while we were there and has since passed away. We will be going up for the funeral next week. He lived a good life and is with his loved ones now.
School starts at the end of the month for our boys. We are going to try to get through the last few weeks of summer staying cool.

Ben and Tricia

We have had a busy and fun summer. We went to Mission Beach in San Diego for a week. We were able to go to the San Diego zoo, Disney Land and had plenty of beach time. We just went to Bear Lake for a week with Tricia's family. We had fun camping and water skiing. We have had a handful of weekend getaways for fishing, camping & the MS150 bike ride in Logan. We have had a ton of fun & have grown closer as a family. -Ben

Dave and Lori

We are headed for Lake Tahoe and the Clark family reunion (Lori's parents). We will be driving to Nevada on July 30th and returning August 4th. I can't be out in the sun any more because of my medication making me susceptible to skin cancer, so I'll just be lazing around. We hope to maybe attend the Reno temple on our way through. We'll see. I'll have my cell phone with me, plus my work number will roll over to my cell phone. Justin is hoping to run up to Washington at the end of August to watch the BYU vs. University of Washington football game.

John and Rose

We went to St. George and Las Vegas. We saw Mamma Mia in Las Vegas and weren't impressed, it was done tastelessly. Other than that there is nothing new going on in the next couple months.

Brent and Rachel

Our kids have spent most of the summer in the pool with their grandma Thomas. We also have a baby blessing coming up for Brent's brother and then we'll be headed to Colorado for a week. Monica and her little girl Chloe also came over and we went to see an art exhibit up in SLC. It was a blast. We've been working on remodeling (a never ending process). We are actually wanting to add on a second story, but for now are just redoing the living room. We put in bamboo floor and hopefully will be able to paint this next week.
