Aunt Mildred' s Scotcheroos

1 c white sugar
1 c Karo syrup
1 c peanut butter

6 c Rice Krispees cereal

6 oz chocolate chips
6 oz butterscotch chips

Bring sugar and Karo syrup to low boil for about 2 minutes in a large, heavy pot. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Add cereal and coat evenly with peanut butter miture.

Press into greased 9x13 inch pan and cool. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together over low heat or in double boiler. Pour over Rice Krispees in pan. Cool and cut into bars.
